Really cute and compact. The lid doesn't twist, it's more like a slip on top so if ur not careful everything just kinda slips out. The instructions are in English, German, Japanese & French. As for cleaning I'm not sure if it was my items or the cleaner itself but my ring was still a bit worn but it looked better than it did before so I'm happy with it. I may need to practice more with it
